Program Information

Our afterschool program is designed to support the needs of working families while creating consistent routines that help children build positive habits. Students are grouped by grade level and rotate through a variety of daily activities. Each day includes a balanced meal and snack, homework help from certified teachers, physical activities, S.T.E.A.M. projects, and enrichment experiences that support both academic growth and social development.

To close out the week, we host a Fun Friday!, a special celebration featuring themed parties, hands-on activities, and exciting group projects that give students the opportunity to learn, play, and connect with their peers.

FAQ's

Do you offer drop-ins? Our drop-in rate starts at $50 per day. However, the program is designed for consistent attendance, so families are encouraged to maintain regular participation to receive the complete benefits of the program.

What meals are provided?

Our meals and snacks follow USDA nutritional guidelines and are inspired by seasonal and cultural flavors. Each menu includes whole grains, vegetables, and protein to provide balanced nutrition that supports healthy development. Menus are also designed to accommodate diverse dietary needs, with no nuts or fish, limited dairy, and reduced oils and other common allergens.

What time is pick-up? Pick-up is by 6:30 pm. Late pick-ups incur a fee of $1 per minute.

Do you provide transportation? We do not provide transportation at this time. However, we coordinate with local partners such as Fulton County Youth Services to support families experiencing hardship with transportation needs.

APEC Afterschool Enrichment Program Cost and Fees

• Registration Fee: $50 per family
• One Child: $100 per week
• Two Children: $180 per week
• Three or More Children: $250 per week
• Late Payment Fee: $25
• Late Pickup Fee: $1 per minute after 6:30 PM dismissal

Reduced-Ratio Care

For students who require additional behavioral support, we provide reduced-ratio care based on program capacity. Tuition is determined by staffing needs to ensure appropriate supervision and specialized attention. Our programs also accommodate on-site support from contracted RBT/ABA specialists, authorized through a child’s physician. This support may be arranged through an insurance provider or an external service.

Georgia CAPS

APEC is an approved provider with the Georgia Childcare and Parent Services (GA CAPS) program. To apply, visit CAPS.DECAL.GA.GOV.

• Please note that GA CAPS does not provide coverage during the approval process; coverage begins only after the scholarship has been officially approved.

If you already have an active GA CAPS certificate, please make sure it is transferred to the correct location before registration.

Tuition  Assistance & Scholarships

As an established 501(c)(3) nonprofit, expanding access to affordable care for families is central to our mission. We actively seek funding sources through grants and sponsorships to support this goal. Scholarship and tuition assistance applications open between July and August, or whenever funding becomes available, and eligibility is based on family need.
