We are excited to share that APEC has been awarded a $75,000 grant from the Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning (DECAL) to establish the APEC Family Resource Hub. This initiative reflects our commitment to supporting families by addressing the needs of both parents and children through a two-generation approach.
The Family Resource Hub is designed to serve student parents by providing access to resources that promote education, career advancement, and family engagement. Key program features include:
- Career and education support
- Community events
- Education stipends
- Family resources and engagement activities
- Parent workshops
- Personalized career and personality assessments
- Opportunities that strengthen the bond between parents and children while supporting early learning and development
The APEC Family Resource Hub offers families a place to participate in programs, receive support, and connect children to quality care and learning opportunities.
